What’s New Pussycat?
So. New Years Eve came and went, as it so usually happens, but it’s only now that I have the time to do my usual new year navel-gazing, except I am too exhausted to gaze at anything but my pillow and duvet. I had my oral Spanish exam yesterday, which went relatively well, I think. I personally could not have performed any better, and for that reason I feel nothing but peace inside about the whole experience. Everything about it reflected where I am right now with the language, including the grade, and, so, honestly — it’s all good. I’m actually looking forward to the next six months with the Spanish language, which I did not see coming when I started this shit thing back in August. I definitely, definitely didn’t.
Now, I am going to drag my little corpus to bed, read for a while, and then hopefully sleep for a loooong time. Fun fact: I have slept so horribly lately. I will return tomorrow with some high quality material. More or less.

I’m happy to hear that your oral exam went well. I have horrible test anxiety and never seem to do good enough. I need to learn how to study. :/
Happy New Year!!

5 January, 2013 at 10:26 pm (138 days ago)Spanish is tough! I’m so glad I don’t have to do oral exams anymore — it was my major in college. Is there a reason you’re learning it or just for fun? I’m thinking about tackling Portuguese.

Anyway late happy New Year and thanks for commmenting on my blog!
